best [love] movie

"The best love is the kind that weakens the soul and makes us reach for more. That plants a fire in our heats and brings peace to our minds."
[from one of Noah's letters to Allie]

The Notebook is no new movie but it never gets old. Every time I watch it I cry, laugh, and fall in love with love all over again. It blows me away how good Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are in this movie. They are so good that it is easy to forget that they are acting. And, it doesn't hurt that they are hot together.

Proof:

All this to say that if you haven't seen it in a while, well, you definitely should. Especially during this month of love!

such a great movie! I'd add When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail to the list as well ;) Meg Ryan owns this genre haha

You are the second blog I read to have blogged about this movie in the past few days! It's a classic...love it. Why couldn't Ryan and Rachel have made it work in real life? Sadness.

Just thinking about the scene where they're on the dock in the rain...oh man! It makes my heart jump and my eyes tear up!! SOOO GOOD!!

I have yet to meet a woman who doesn't get some kind of brain chemical rush when watching this movie. Remember our special Valentine's Day with Christine when we watched the racy deleted scenes?!!

I never get tired of this movie... second favorite romantic movie right after gone with the wind.

Now I feel like watching them both!
